Beschreibung
The Moroccan Aùtas have elements of Japanese geishas and courtesans are comparable to those of European Romanticism. Aùtas are shareholders, who will be invited to parties, weddings and funerals, but earn their living mainly in nightclubs. Always they were the objects of the imagination and adoration. But while they were a hundred years ago in the center of power and the powerful moving, they are now threatened by the crash of society, of loneliness and contempt. MADAME PLAZA in the born 1980 in Marrakech Bouchra Ouizguen and three artists meet their homes, which were reduced by a predominantly male audience for decades, mainly due to their body issued. The beguiling vocals and the gentle Hüftschwunge the Aùtas, barely noticeable, but was fascinated by covering ground, the former principal dancer of the Arabian dance. The inconsistency of the conventional image of women in Morocco - Aùtas be discriminated against, but for their position within the world of men and envied - they discovered a taste of social freedom.
