In I NOT I führen Raum und Körper ein unheimliches Eigenleben. Sadler lässt die Körper der TänzerInnen Positionen einnehmen, die der menschlichen Anatomie widersprechen. Ist das noch ein Mensch oder ein Alien? Die Performer sind Puppenspieler und Marionetten ihrer selbst zugleich ' Ich und Nicht-Ich. Inspiriert von Hitchcocks Klassikern „The Rope“ und „The Birds“ entwirft Sadler eine meisterhafte Choreografie des menschlich Unnatürlichen. I pose the question "Which forms and meanings are left to discover when one disassociates the 'human' from the body and its gestures?" In this dance performance I create hybrids by amplifying the peripheral bodies in oneself: animal, machine, object, and mineral. The performers are pushed into the experience of being outside one's body, of living it as a foreign entity.
