Information

Bobo Jelčić (*1964) and Nataša Rajković (*1966) - director Bobo Jelčić and dramaturg Nataša Rajković have been working together since 1993. They have tried to create their own means of theatrical expression, testing the borders between theatre and the authenticity of being. Together they have written the scripts for a number of productions. "Observations in Varazdin" was their first joint project. The play arose without a set script during work with actors, and was insired by their life stories. It finally found its way to audiences, thus opening up the way for further testing and development of this approach to theatre. On the basis of the text that emerged from another project, Decelerations in the &TD theatre, a play was created in 1999 called "Uncertain Course", which brought its creators extraordinary success in Europe and elsewhere in the world. The production travelled round European theatres and festivals, culminating in Berlin in one of Germany's most distinguished theatres, the Schaubühne, where at the FIND festival of new drama it was designated one of the five most important plays in today's Europe.
