Dancer, choreographer and teacher native from S.P. Tlatizapan, Mexico. He studied dance at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany and at the Choreographic Investigation Center Mexico (Centro de Investigación Coreográfica, CICO-INBA, México). He specialized in Mexican folkloric dance, folk dances of the world, contemporary dance, modern dance, ballet, flamenco, jazz, ballroom dancing and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Beginning his career as a folkloric dancer with the National Folkloric Dance Company of Mexico (INBA) in 1993, with which he participated in National and International Festivals. During this period he also performed as a soloist. In 2000 he moved on to be part of the Folkloric Ballet of the University of Colima (Mexico), one of the most renown Companies of the country. He participated as a contemporary dancer in Windschatten by Malou Airaudo (Germany 2006), Felix by Johannes Wieland (Germany 2007), “Time and Space by Gerardo Delgado and Robert Battle for the closing gala of XXX Congress International Theatre Institute (ITI-UNESCO) Mexico (2003), among others. His choreographic work have been presented at National and International Festival presenting his works in Germany, Bulgaria, Colombia, Cuba, USA, Czech Republic and Mexico. He has also worked in the operas productions such as Bastian and Bastiana and Puss in Boots at the Center for the Arts of Guanajuato (Mexico) also work for contemporary music concerts in Mexico and Germany. As a teacher he is experienced in Mexican folk dances and body training in contemporary dance. He gave workshops in Czech Republic, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, and Switzerland. He currently directs M0ving B0rders, Performing arts without borders, which promotes dialogue of styles and interpretations of artistic work through interdisciplinary projects; besides continuing his work as a promoter of Mexican folkloric dance abroad.
