Information

Franziska Aigner, born in Salzburg, Austria in 1985, graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in June 2008. During her studies she broadened her interest in the Performing Arts, participating in a number of productions that ranged from making dance performances to publishing articles on the Performing Arts. She has made her own work throughout her four years of study, collaborating with different people in different functions. Her most performed works until now are Madonna project, a live video installation that deals with the issue of language and movement in female bodies (premiered December 2006 with Sirah Foighel, Marisa Cabal and Georgia Vadarou), Hip/How to become a composition (premiered in June 2007 with Gabriel Schenker) and Throwing Rocks (premiered in April 2008 with Gabriel Schenker). During the season 2008/2009 Franziska will engage in producing the new-formed collective Busy Rocks. With Busy Rocks, she will be involved in producing a new performance with Gabriel Schenker (Under the Influence), working with the collective on Dominos and Butterflies, and working on a solo project from April until December 2009.
