Kate Hilder studied somatic movement and performance at the Moving On Center, California. Since then she has studied Action Theater, improvisational performance training, intensively with Ruth Zaporah and Sten Rudstrøm and is now a certified Action Theater teacher.
Her work is also informed by her vocal training (Roy Hart Theatre) and her practice of meditation and feldenkrais. Kate currently teaches improvisation at movingartsbase, London and in Brighton where she lives. She performs with MudLotus and is also part of a European Action Theater performance collective.
